Exclamation NRG 2. SBW programming doesn't work!!!!
I bought four NRG 2 module. And all of them were pre programmed by you!!!! IdeaHuh What the firmware is I don't know - you don't tell me about it and your web site doesn't have any information about it. But it is no problem for me. Problem for me is that you blew security fuse in CC430F5137!!!!!Angry And I can't programmed module through SBW (Serial bi-wire)!!!!! Angry

Please explain me why did you blow security fuse, WHY????AngryHuh

And How can I buy clean NRG 2 module without any pre programmed software and with a security fuse.

PS: My last order ID is: CFZHGCQVF

I'm looking forward to your answer.

Best regards, Vladimir.

RE: NRG 2. SBW programming doesn't work!!!!
Hi Vladimir,

SBW can only be locked via SBW or J-Tag and we never program the modules in this way. All CC430 MCU's come preprogrammed with BSL so we don't even have to flash BSL on every panStamp. We simply check that BSL is working by flashing "basicbeacon" via BSL (serial bootloader) and checking whether the radio is working. There is no risk to blow any fuse with this process.

Are you able to program the modules via BSL?

RE: NRG 2. SBW programming doesn't work!!!!
Hi Daniel,
Thank you for the quick response.
Ok, I'll trying again to program via SBW (I use MSP-FET430UIF).

About BSL - I have a lot of modules based FT230XS chip (without DTR pin), and doesn't have any RS-232 to TTL 3V3 converter with RTS and DTR.
Tommorow I will buy RS-232 to TTL 3V3 converter and try to program via BSL.

I'll tell you later about it.

Best regards, Vladimir.
